Crew Industrial Flooring have completed a resin flooring project in a electrical sub-station. The client required a 12mm epoxy quartz system sealed with 3 clear gloss coats of high build epoxy sealer.

The floor surface was mechanically prepared and primed followed by the application of the specified product.

The project was completed early and within budget. Because of this successful application Crew Industrial Flooring have been given the order for 3 more sub stations.

Crew Industrial Flooring have completed the complete refurbishment of major direct mail company printing floor. The original floor surface had become damaged and was holding the dirt. The client required a smooth easy to clean surface that would withstand printing inks and toner coming in contact with the surface, along with constant pump truck traffic. Crew Industrial Flooring Specified a 3mm Epoxy SL as this would provide all the characteristics required by the client.

The existing floor surface was made up of vinyl tile and sheet vinyl. After removal of the vinyl and the thick layer of adhesive the concrete surface proved to be in very poor condition. The floor surface was mechanically prepared by mechanical vinyl lifters, vonarxing and grinding, this removed all the adhesive along with provide a mechanical key for the two coats of epoxy primer. After the primer had cured 3mm of Epoxy SL was applied to provide a smooth easy to clean surface along with chemical resistant.

The project was completed below budget and on time. Work started on a Friday night in less than 48hrs enabling the client to continue with there printing process.



Floor preperation to workshop floor

Crew Industrial Flooring have completed the complete refubishment of a truck workshop floor. The existing floor surface was in a poor condition, holes and a badly pitted surface where just a few of the problems. The existing floor surface was mechanically prepared by enclosed shotblasting which is virtually 100% dust free.

After this had been completed two coats of high build epoxy floor coating incorporating an antislip finish where laid over an area of 600 square meters.

This project was completed on time and in two phases to reduce disruption to the client. It was delivered within budget and to there complete satisfaction!
