Repair to quarry tiles in brewery can-hall
When large independent brewer had a problem with large quarry tiles lifting in the can hall area of production they needed a quick, right first time, long term solution so they called in crew industrial flooring. The client contacted Crew industrial flooring with the following information.
They had an inspection on Tuesday morning by one of there large clients.
Quarry tiles need sticking down in monsoon conditions; the area will be very wet with a combination of larger, beer, water and caustic running over the floor during application
The product must be non taint
They job will needed to be completed within a 5hrs window and the job must take place in just three days time.
Crew Industrial flooring arrange a urgent site visit and confirmed all site conditions where correct and that 40sq meters of quarry tiles would need to be removed, cleaned, sub-floor prepared and cleaned, built up before the tiles will need to be replaced and grouted in within the 5hr window.
The floor was built up and the tiles adhered down with a four component product before grouting the tiles in with a 3 component specialty grout. At all times during the installation liquid was running over the areas. The client was thrilled with the areas competed and there inspection was passed. As a result of this we are currently term maintenance floor surfacing contractor there completing other areas of the site including repairs to resin floor screeds.
