On the face of there seams to be little difference between Epoxy and Polyurethane self-smoothing industrial flooring. The most obvious one to you our clint is that one has a matt finish (the polyurethane) and the other has a high gloss finish to it (the epoxy). Each one though like any specialist industrial floor finish needs to be specified and installed correctly to perform at its full potential.

Product Descriptions

Self levelling / Smoothing compounds are is medium to heavy-duty epoxy resin floor finish, which provides a smooth, easily cleaned surface with good chemical resistance and wearing characteristics. Decorative effects can be achieved also.

Appearance

Coloured, smooth highly glossy appearance or matt finish

Product Thickness

Laid between 2mm - 5mm

Installation Areas

Epoxy and Polyurethane SL are ideal for areas subject to medium occasional heavy wear but requiring a smooth easily cleanable surface, areas for storage , dry processing areas, printing, engineering, laboratories and cleanrooms.
